This weekend launches the Toronto Urban Photography Festival, a citywide event that explores endless urban discoveries and everyday human interactions.
Organized by a group of volunteers, the festival runs from March 9th to the 23rd at various locations throughout Toronto.
The “Disposable Camera Project” invited pedestrians to take pictures with cameras left around the city. 13 of the 14 cameras were returned and the products are on display at the Lomography Gallery Store.
The festival also features workshops and speeches by respected photographers. If you want to join in on the action, be sure to check out some of the organized neighbourhood walks around the city. You can even share your photos on their online community.
