Stacey Dash seems to be Clueless.
Apparently she wrote a memoir called “There Goes My Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative.” The book covers everything from feminism to gun control. She also touches on Lady Gaga and her liberal agenda.
And also says that being transgender is a choice. The main reason she says transgender people shouldn’t be allowed in their self-identifying washroom is because of safety.
“It’s your body! So, it’s your decision, right? We all make choices.”
In her book Dash discusses transgender reality star Caitlyn Jenner’s use of the women’s restroom. She says instead that they should go in the bushes.
“OK, then go in the bushes. I don’t know what to tell you, but I’m not gonna put my child’s life at risk because you want to change a law.”
The news reporter bursted out in laughter at the comment. I wasn’t sure if that was because it was genuinely funny or so outrageous and awkward that she didn’t know what to do. I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt and say the latter.
I find this an insult to the GLBT community who have fought for their equality. Being transgender isn’t a choice. Her argument reminds me of what was said about the gay and lesbian community before we received marriage equality and when our sexual preferences were outlawed. But why stop your outrageous comments when in lands you media appearances and book deals?
But the former “Clueless” star is no stranger to controversy. In January she was slammed for saying she believed both Black History Month and the BET network should be abolished. You can watch my video about that in the lower left hand corner.
