Last night Ronda Rousey fought Bethe Correia at UFC 190. The fight took place in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Rousey was defending her bantamweight title. You may remember Rousey from this quote:
“Just because my body was developed for a purpose other than fucking millionaires, doesn’t mean it’s masculine. I think it’s femininely badass as fuck because there isn’t a single muscle on my body that isn’t developed for a purpose, because I’m not a ‘Do Nothin’ Bitch.'”
Leading up to the fight, there was a lot of Bad Blood between the fighters. It all started when Correia brought up Rousey’s dad’s suicide. Correia said:
“She is winning, so everybody is around her cheering her up, but when she realizes she is not everything that she believes she is, I don’t know what might happen.
I hope she does not kill herself later on (laughs).”
Rousey responded on Twitter: “@bethecorreia suicide is no joke or selling point. My father will be with me the day I hand you the comeuppance you deserve.”
Rousey also took it on her at the match. She knocked out Correia in just 34 seconds.
Rousey improves to 12-0 and successfully defender her bantamweight championship.
She thanked the crowd and dedicated her win to deceased wrestler “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. She also mentioned her love ones:
“I hope nobody brings up my family anymore when it comes to fights”.
