Gotti originally released the track last fall. But Minaj got it trending on Twitter.
Why is it so popular? The Anaconda singer added two verses to the track off Gotti’s upcoming album The Art of the Hustle.
She references Miley at the end of the first verse.
“He said ‘Kylie, what’s good?’/I said Miley, what’s good?/I said could you pay my bills like O’Reilly, what’s good?”
If you remember, the beef began when Cyrus referred to Minaj as “not too kind” and “not very polite” in an interview with The New York Times.
Cyrus was commenting on Minaj’s Twitter beef with Taylor Swift. Minaj felt snubbed for not getting a nomination for Anaconda and felt that if you celebrated women with “very slim bodies” you are more likely to get a nom. Swift responded believing that she was getting called out.
And while Miley was hosting the Video Music Awards, Minaj called her out on it while accepting her award for Best Hip Hope Video. “And now, back to this bitch who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press: Miley, what’s good?” The camera then panned to a stunned Cyrus who claimed that the interview was “manipulated.”
She also calls out Drake in her verse.
“And now, back to this bitch who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press: Miley, what’s good?” The camera then panned to a stunned Cyrus who claimed that the interview was “manipulated.”
This is referring to the Drake and Meek Mill beef. Mill called out Drake for ghostwriting his lyrics. Drake shot back with 2 tracks as well as a bunch of memes. Memes which he used as a backdrop in some of his concerts, including one that featured a participation award for Mill’s diss track “Wanna Know.” #dead.
And then Minaj takes a shot at Kylie Jenner:
“Then he put his hands in my pants / Felt them thick lips and got wood / He said, ‘Kylie, wuss good?’ / I said, ‘Miley, wuss good?'”
She compares her much-discussed lip injections to her genitals.
