kanye-west-wheelchair-apology

Kanye West demanded that two handicap people stand up before he performed his next song and didn’t apologize. Instead he claims he is the victim of the media sensationalizing his story.

“I decided I can’t do this song, I can’t do the rest of the show until everybody stands up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and shit.”

It turned out that both those people – one in a wheelchair and one with a prosthetic leg – were handicapped. He addressed the audience later and played the victim card. Stating that with all what’s going on in the world, this is what the media has to focus on. And that he is a “married, Christian man with a family.”

What do you think? Is the media sensationalizing this mistake? Or do you think Yeezus should be more inclusive and understanding that not everyone is able-bodied? I am leaning towards the latter.
