The moment Donald Trump took office his administration took off important sites off the White House website. Whitehouse.gov lost its Spanish pages and content about civil rights, LGBT rights, global warming and regulations — while adding a new statement about America’s “dangerous anti-police atmosphere.”
Many citizens have protested against his climate change denial. This time it was Greenpeace.
Greenpeace unveiled a banner that read “RESIST” in Washington D.C. The activists scaled a crane in the central business district. Greenpeace USA says the display is “in resistance to Trump’s climate denial, racism, misogyny, homophobia, and bigotry.”
Other protesters include the National Parks Resistance. These are Twitter accounts whose profiles were allegedly deactivated by the Trump administration. But there is one still going and they are tweeted messages about Donald Trump’s climate change denial including, “Mr Trump, you may have taken us down officially. But with scientific evidence & the Internet our message will get out.”
