Chrystia Freeland opened her office at Jarvis and King. Which is convenient, since I work right up the street. So it always brings a smile to my face when I walk to work, remembering all the fun I had at the office opening.
I even got the opportunity to film the event. A bunch of political idols came out to celebrate, including Justin Trudeau and George Smitherman.
The digital media team over at the Liberal Party just released the video, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
I feel that Freeland’s message really came across. It’s great to see politicians stick up for the middle class. Her platform held true to the Liberal party stance on equality of opportunity.
I also appreciated her humbleness in thanking those that came before her, such as Bill Graham.
This was a very triumphant video for me as a videographer. Behind every project I like to think that it impacts society in some way. Whether it be a product I truly believe in or key messaging that needs to be heard. This video is a prime example of beliefs and character that I can really get behind.
The video is even featured on Chrystia Freeland‘s liberal party website. It’s also doing extremely well on social media:
She is also in the process of handing out signs for her campaign. Request a Chrystia Freeland sign today!

Some of the stills were also featured on Justin Trudeau’s Facebook and got a lot of recognition:
