And these are your highlights from the 2015 American Music Awards.
Jennifer Lopez probably expected she would be grabbing the headlines with her sexy performance at the AMAs, but it was actually her backup dancer that caught the viewers attention.
The dancer was wearing a skin tight catsuit and threw all of her energy into her performance. And it showed. The catsuit split open at the back.
During her opening dance medley she did a cover of Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda. And the director cut to Nicki Minaj, who was really not that into it.
Like, not at all.
Then we had Meghan Tranoir and Charlie Puth make out for an uncomfortably long time.
They just kept going until the show’s producers cut away.
Jared Leto paid a touching tribute to his friend who died in the Paris Terrorist Attacks.
“Tonight we honor the victims of the unimaginable violence that took place in Paris and around the world,” said Leto. “France matters. Russia matters. Mali matters. Syria matters.”
Leto continued citing countries in a litany of loss, concluding by saying, “The whole world matters. Peace is possible.”
“Many of us are the sons and daughters of immigrants,” Leto said, citing Steve Jobs and President Obama.
Leto was introducing Ceine Dion’s very emotional and beautiful performance. A montage played behind her honouring the 130 victims as she sang ‘Hymne a L’Amour.’
Pop star Demi Lovato ended up getting emotional along with many others in the crowd. It was clear last night the Paris Terrorist Attacks were on everyone’s minds.
